Our History
Valley Eye Associates, PC, began January
1st, 2005, with doctors Evan Wolf and Lynn Coon, who were originally
associated with an Anchorage based eye clinic. The practice specializes
in comprehensive eye care, including glasses and contact lenses, and
medical/surgical issues such as cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration,
diabetes, eyelid disorders and injuries.
In addition to regularly scheduled appointments in the office, Valley
Eye Associates provides on-call coverage for eye emergencies. Emergency
visits are performed at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center or by special
arrangement in our office.
We Are Preferred Providers
(PPO) for the Following:
Medicare, Medicaid,
Aetna,
Blue
Cross, Vision Service Plan (VSP), and Railroad Medicare.
As a courtesy to our patients, we bill all insurance for you,
including:
GEHA Health Plan for Federal Employees
- ( Effective August 15 2006 ) Veterans Administration
(VA) with prior authorization, Tricare/Champus, Risk & Benefit
Management Services (RBMS), Employee Benefit Management Services (EMBS),
Alaska Food & Commercial Workers (AFCW), International Brotherhood
of Electrical Workers (IBEW), Alaska Laborers & Operating Engineers.
We Do Not Accept:
Davis Vision, Vision One, Eye Med, Agmor Corp, Coast to Coast or Spetrera.
As a convenience to our patients,
we accept most major credit cards.
Though many of our patients are referred from optometrists or primary
care physicians, appointments can also be made directly by patients.
We make every effort to accommodate out-of-town patients for exams,
special testing, or surgery scheduling.
