Meet Our Staff
Dr. Evan Wolf,
MD PhD |
Evan Wolf, MD PhD
Dr. Wolf was a mechanical engineer and PhD neurobiologist before attending
medical school at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey.
He completed a medical internship followed by ophthalmology training
in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is the first full-time Board Certified
ophthalmologist to live and work in the Mat-Su Valley and has been
in practice here since 2002. Dr. Wolf’s practice includes routine
eye care, emergency treatment, and medical/surgical treatment of cataracts,
glaucoma, diabetes, macular degeneration, eyelid and cornea disorders.
Dr. Wolf and his family enjoy ATV’s, snowmachining, biking,
hiking, and photography.

Lynn J Coon, OD FAAO
Dr. Coon has been in practice in Wasilla for over 20 years. He also
practiced in Bend, Oregon and was Assistant Professor at Pacific University
College of Optometry, the institution from which he received his degree
in 1972. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, has
served on the Operating Board of Valley Hospital, has received awards
from the State Optometric Societies in Oregon and Alaska, and focuses
on comprehensive optometry, contact lenses, children’s vision,
and medical glaucoma. Dr. Coon, his wife, and five children enjoy
sports and outdoor activities.
